Friday, Oct 18:
NDSU Winter Fan Day, 5:00 pm @ SHAC at NDSU. Fan Day is free and open to the public and will run from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with Bison men’s basketball, women’s basketball and wrestling teams and coaches in attendance. Presenting sponsor MidcoSN will provide NDSU branded rally flags to the first 1,500 fans.

Saturday, Oct 19:
Grace Fall Festival, 8:00 am @ Grace United Methodist Church at 1120 17th St. S. in Moorhead. Open 8am-2pm for crafts, silent auction, baked goods, coffee and donuts, and Country Store, with lunch served 11-1:30.

Red River Market, 10:00 am @ Folkways Plaza at 63 5th St. N. in Fargo. Join us and shop from 75 local vendors including produce, meat, eggs, bakery, pantry items, household goods, art, and more. Grab breakfast, lunch, coffee, or a drink while enjoying cooking demonstrations, live performances, educational family activities. Free.

Boo at the Zoo, 10:00 am @ Red River Zoo in Fargo. Join us on October 19th or October 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for our annual Halloween spooktacular. The day will feature local vendors handing out candy, fall crafts, and lots of fun zoo activities. Don’t forget to wear your favorite costume. Regular admission rates apply. Boo at the Zoo is free for Red River Zoo members.

Inspire + Create, 11:00 am @ Rheault Farm at 2902 25th St. S. in Fargo. Join us for a STEM-filled day of fun. Get ready to experience all that chemistry has to offer: Watch Dr. Graeme from Concordia’s Science Academy do a mad scientist experiment on the stage, take part in your own experiments, stop by the photo booth to capture your own scientist image, and make sure to fill-up your lab notebook to claim your scientist badge. Free.

Movie Matinee, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. The library will be screening “Aladdin,” (2019) ©Walt Disney Pictures, rated PG.

Senior Band Blast, 4:00 pm @ Olivet Lutheran Church at 1330 University Dr. S. in Fargo. The F-M Golden Notes Band from Fargo and the Second Wind Band from Grand Forks will be performing a joint concert. Both bands are senior adult concert bands. Free.

Greg Hager Concert, 7:00 pm @ Eagle Valley Evangelical Free Church at 17515 County Road 2 in Christine. Free concert with a free will offering at the door.

Sunday, Oct 20:
West Fargo Dance Team Pancake Breakfast, 8:00 am @ West Fargo VFW at 444 Sheyenne St. in West Fargo. Support the award-winning West Fargo Packatahnas Dance Team at a pancake breakfast. Dancers will be serving delicious hot cakes and coffee. Free will donations greatly appreciated!

Open Skate, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Sports Center. Admission is $2 for kids (age 17 and under), $3 for adults, and $5 for family skate. There is limited skate rental available for $1.

Fall Festival, all day @ Holy Cross Catholic Church at 2711 7th St. E. in West Fargo. Buffet-style oven roasted stuffed pork loin, mashed potatoes & gravy, candied carrots, coleslaw, relish tray, buns, homemade apple crisp & pumpkin dessert & beverages. Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota, 3:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota will be hosting office hours at the library on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 3-4 pm to provide free legal advice on civil (non-criminal) issues to low income families and individuals. Eligible clients must be at or below 125% of the poverty line and are required to fill out an application to begin.

Chess Club, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join chess players of every level for a chess skill share. Chess boards and books will be provided. Free.
