Friends of Moorhead Library Book Sale, 5:00 pm Thursday and 10:00 am on Friday and Saturday @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. The Friends of the Moorhead Library will be hosting a used book sale. All proceeds will go to support the Friends of the Moorhead Library. $5 bag sale on Saturday.

MBA 560 Connect, 5:00 pm @ Moorhead American Legion. Wine tasting.

Spooktacular Night, 5:00 pm @ Family Wellness at 2960 Seter Parkway in Fargo. Family Wellness invites your family to get together for an exciting night, jam packed with Halloween fun. Enjoy a healthy festive snack, face painting, Halloween themed games, prizes, and much more. Free and open to the community.

Moorhead State of the District Address, 6:00 pm @ Probstfield Center Board Room.

Friday, Oct 25:
MSUM Choir Concert, 7:30 pm @ Glasrud Auditorium in Weld Hall at MSUM. A performance by the MSUM Choirs, under the direction of Dr. Eryyn Millard. $5-$7.

Saturday, Oct 26:
Bling, Bling Showcase, Friday and Saturday at 9:00 am @ Fine Arts Clubhouse at 601 4th St. S. in Fargo. Regional artists and vendors will display and sell their art at the Fine Arts Clubhouse. A $5 admission fee includes dessert and coffee. 

Boo at the Zoo, 10:00 am @ Red River Zoo in Fargo. Join us on October 19th or October 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for our annual Halloween spooktacular. The day will feature local vendors handing out candy, fall crafts, and lots of fun zoo activities. Don’t forget to wear your favorite costume. Regular admission rates apply, free for zoo members.

LEGO Club, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. People of all ages and creative ability are welcome to come make their own LEGO creation with the library’s LEGO Club. Supplies provided.

Spooky & Swingin’ Halloween Dance, 7:00 pm @ Sons of Norway at 722 2nd Ave. N. in Fargo. To cap off October, we’ll be hosting a social dance over at the Sons of Norway featuring: – a basic swing dance lesson – music to fit the holiday theme – a costume contest – cash bar – snacks and refreshments. Just $8 per person, $5 for students with school ID. No dance experience or partner required.

Sunday, Oct 27:
Annual Fall Dinner & Bazaar, 11:00 am @ Blessed Sacrament Church of West Fargo at 210 5th Ave. W. Dinner served from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm: pork loin, vegetable, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, and dessert and coffee. Country and jewelry stores, bingo, face painting. $10.

Family Halloween Costume Contest, 12:00 pm @ Skate City ND at 3302 Interstate Blvd. S. in Fargo. Skate City is hosting a Halloween costume party from 12:00 – 4:00 pm. We will be having a costume parade and games. Don’t forget about those door prizes. $5 – $8.

Open Skate, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Sports Center. Admission is $2 for kids (age 17 and under), $3 for adults, and $5 for family skate. There is limited skate rental available for $1.

Duo Piano Concert – 176 Keys and 110 Fingers, 4:00 pm @ First Presbyterian Church at 650 2nd Ave. N. in Fargo. Two-piano concert featuring 11 different pianists combined in duets and two-piano repertoire. Special surprise duet played with 4 Feet. Free.

Ham Dinner & Bake Sale, 4:00 pm @ Lutheran Church of Christ the King at 1900 14th St. S. in Moorhead. Ham, baked potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw and pie. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children.

Monday, Oct 28:
Florence Klingensmith Mural Celebration, 10:00 am @ Moorhead Ace Hardware. Artists Cory Gillerstein and Jared Froeber will unveil their Moorhead Proud mural of native Florence Klingensmith, a pioneer of aviation.

The Arc Halloween Party & Dance, 6:30 pm @ Ellen Hopkins Elementary School in Moorhead. Join us for a Halloween Party with games & activities provided by the Student Council for Exceptional Children from MSUM. Costume contest with prizes.

Author Visit with Keith O’Brien, 7:00 pm @ Fargo Air Museum at 1609 19th Ave. N. in Fargo. Immerse yourself in the history of local and national aviation with a free presentation and book signing at the Fargo Air Museum with Fly Girls author Keith O’Brien. Admission is free; books will be available for purchase.

MSUM Faculty Piano Trio, 7:30 pm @ Gaede Stage at MSUM. Performance by the Kim-Grise-Lamb Trio: Jeehyun Kim, piano; Tiana Grise, flute; and Earnest Lamb, cello. Free.

Vaping: Dangers for Youth in Using E-Cigarettes, Vaping and Tobacco Program, 6:30 pm at Grace United Methodist Church, 1120 17th St S, Moorhead. Jason McCoy, MPH, Clay County Public Health Tobacco Prevention Coordinator, will present this program. There is no charge for this program. The public is invited. It targets adults, parents, middle and high school students.
