Thursday, July 11:
Park It Arts & Crafts, 1:00 pm @ Roosevelt Park at 1220 9th St. N. in Fargo. Meet the Xcellent Art staff at the park and create take home arts and crafts. The fun travels weekly different neighborhoods. All supplies provided. This program is free.

MBA 560 Connect, 5:00 pm @ Reese & Riley’s Olive Oil & Bistro Bar at 935 37th Avenue South Suite 120 in Moorhead. Sponsored by Ruki Modern Homes.

Comstock Lawn Games, 5:00 pm @ Comstock House at 506 8th St. S. in Moorhead. We’ll be offering free house tours, free lawn games, free s’mores, and local beers for $5 apiece. The games will include classics like kubb, molkky, skittles, bocce ball, and croquet; and we’ll be drinking local brews from community brewers like Junkyard Brewing Company, Drekker Brewing Company, and Fargo Brewing Company.

Lego Club, 6:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. People of all ages and creative ability are welcome to come make their own Lego creation with the library’s Lego Club. Supplies provided. Free.

Friday, July 12:
Tennis Carnival, 9:00 am @ Moorhead High School Tennis Courts. Join us for a fun-filled day of tennis! Enjoy a variety of activities to test your skills and win prizes. Youth of all ages and skills are invited. Participants do not have to be in our tennis program to join in the fun! This event is free and open to all.

Lights for Liberty Vigil, 7:00 pm @ Fargo Civic Center. Singer/songwriters James Bergman and Warren Christianson will perform, and Native America drummers will also share from their culture. Various people will speak – moms with children, a man from El Salvador to talk about the violence there which forces people to flee, faith leaders, political leaders – all helping us move to action to speak out against the crimes against humanity on the Texas-Mexico border and other border crossing areas.

Monday, July 15:

Tuesday, July 16:
Moorhead Farmers’ Market, 3:30 pm @ Moorhead Center Mall. Get Fresh. Go Local. Items for sale include fresh vegetables, fruit, baked goods, honey, jams, jellies, pet products, hand crafted items, food trucks, music, and so much more.

G.O.T – Gathering on Tuesdays, 5:30 pm @ Rheault Farm at 2902 25th St. S. in Fargo. ach G.O.T event starts with a party that includes face painting, an art project, a DJ and so much more. Don’t forget your chairs because following each party, you’re invited to stick around for a feature movie on the big inflatable screen or a live concert in the park. And the best part is the event is free.

Scavenger Hunt, 6:00 pm @ Veteran’s Memorial Arena at 1201 7th Ave. E. in West Fargo. Gather a team and check in at the Veterans Memorial Arena at 6:00 pm, pre-registration is recommended. Enjoy a free hotdog, chips and beverage before the hunt begins! Team will be given a list of clues and sent out to explore the parks. At each location, team members will need to capture their visit on camera to show judges when they return to the Veterans Memorial Arena. All teams who complete these tasks and return to the Veterans Memorial Arena by 8:00 pm will be entered in a drawing for the Grand Prize.

Chess Club, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join chess players of every level for a chess skill share. Chess boards and books will be provided. Free.

Gospel Music Concert, 6:45 pm @ Serenity Senior Living at 1204 Oakview Dr. in Dilworth. The Prime Time Choir will be presenting a concert of gospel music to include instrumental, solos and small group ensembles. Free.

Writing Group, 7:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. The Friends of the Moorhead Library are sponsoring a local writing group. Come share your work, discuss ideas, and network with other writers. The group meets the first and third Tuesday of the month at the library.

Wednesday, July 17:
Mojofit Yoga, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Explore the limits of your mind and body as we practice Yoga with Kristen from Mojofit Studios and get ready to move, learn, and stretch.

River Paddling Excursions, 6:00 pm @ Hjemkomst Center Landing at 202 1st Ave. N. in Moorhead. If you like to canoe or kayak, and would like to learn more about the Red River, join us this summer. Take a relaxing downtown river tour as local guest speakers share their expertise on the following educational topics: July 17: History of the Red River, hosted by Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County. Learn about the historic sites including the steamboat landing and remnants from the riverfront saloons.
