Baby Bounce, 10:15 am @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Songs, stories, and action poems for infants through preschoolers and their caregivers. Free.

Soup and Pie Dinner, 4:30 pm @ St. Joseph’s Gathering Place, Door #7 at 1005 2nd Ave. S. Homemade soup and pie served with fresh baked popovers lovingly made by members of the Catholic Daughters of America Court St. Mary. $8.

Book Sale, 5:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. The Friends of the Moorhead Library will be hosting a used book sale. All proceeds will go to support the Friends of the Moorhead Library. Sale runs Thursday 5:00 – 8:00 pm, Friday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, and Saturday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Live Music feat. The Lollygaggers, 7:00 pm @ Junkyard Brewing Company at 1416 1st Ave. N. Live Music by local artists every night at the taproom. Free.

Pop Lit Book Club, 7:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. This month, the Pop Lit Book Club will read “The Great Alone” by Kristin Hannah. All are welcome to the conversation and free popcorn.

Performance of “The Wolves,” 7:30 pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday @ Gaede Stage at MSUM. A girl’s indoor soccer team warms up. A portrait of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for nine American girls who just want to score some goals. $12-$20.

Friday, Feb 22:
Area Singles Night, 9:00 pm @ Junkyard Brewing Company at 1416 1st Ave. N. Area Singles are invited to an evening of music by Lonesome Dan Kase. No cover charge, food truck and various games available. More information visit: www.red-river-singles.org.

Saturday, Feb 23:
Pancake Breakfast, 7:00 am @ Moorhead Masonic Family Center at 1815 11th St. N. All you
can eat buttermilk and Swedish pancakes, sausage, and eggs. $8.

Winter Trails Day – Learn to Snowshoe / Skishoe, 10:00 am @ M.B. Johnson Park at 3601 11th St. N. Come out to try your hand at snowshoeing, skishoeing, or regular XC skiing for free. We will offer mini-clinics (covering how-to info for snowshoes & skishoes) at 10am, noon, and 2pm and short group skishoe / snowshoe tours at 10:30am, 11:30am and 12:30pm. Free.

Lego Club, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. All ages and abilities are welcome to come make their own Lego creation at our Lego Club. Supplies provided to build, but make sure to bring your imagination. Free.

Puzzle Exchange, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Refresh your selection of puzzles by participating in the library’s puzzle exchange! Bring your puzzles of all sizes and exchange them with others. Puzzles must be complete with all the pieces included.

One Enchanted Evening, 6:00 pm @ Hjemkomst Center. This special evening for youth, ages 4-12 and their family, features a grand march, dancing, refreshments, photos, and memories to last a lifetime. Semi-formal dress is encouraged. All are invited to attend the grand march, however, only ticketed couples will be allowed to stay afterwards for the dance. $12.

Open Skate, 2:15 pm @ Moorhead Sports Center. Grab your friends and family, lace up your skates, and enjoy another season of Open Skate at the Moorhead Sports Center. Skate rental will be available (limited sizes). Free.

Kantorei and Cantabile Winter Concert, 4:00 pm @ Knutson Centrum at Concordia College. Kantorei, a mixed-voice choir of mostly first-year students, and Cantabile, sopranos and altos from freshman through senior year, will present a Winter Concert. Free.

Gooseberry Park Players Information Sessions, 4:00 and 6:00 pm @ Weld Hall at MSUM. Gooseberry Park Players will be holding their Information Sessions for students to learn more about our summer musical “The Wizard of Oz.” Students ages 11-18 are welcome to attend with their parents. You will learn more about our Fee-Free program and how to sign up for auditions that will be held March 24-25th.

Origami Club, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. All ages and abilities are welcome to come practice the skill of paper folding with fellow origami enthusiasts. Basic materials are provided. Free.

Peace Corps Series, 7:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Cory Enger, who served in the Peace Corps in Niger from 2006 to 2008, and then in Jamaica 2012 to 2014, will be speaking about his Peace Corps experiences in these countries. Free.

Moorhead School Board Meeting, 7:00 pm @ Probstfield Center for Education.

Arc Dances, 7:15 pm @ Ellen Hopkins Elementary School. Dances for people with disabilities, their families, support staff, and the entire community. Everyone is welcome to dance and socialize. DJ provides the music. Free.
