Oscar Elmer Pioneer Preacher in the Red River Valley, 6:30 pm @ Comstock House at 506 8th St. S. Historian and NDSU Doctoral Candidate Robert Foresman will be coming to the Comstock House to speak about one of the Comstock’s contemporaries, early Moorhead Preacher Oscar H. Elmer. $0-$5.

“Home: The Homelessness Crisis in ND” Film Screening, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join us for a screening of the first episode of the limited-series documentary “Home,” which focuses on the homelessness crisis in North Dakota. The episode will be followed by a panel discussion featuring area experts about the epidemic. Free.

Pop Lit Book Club – “Catch-22,” 7:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. It’s time to tackle a piece of modern literature you’ve always been meaning to read – “Catch-22” by Joseph Heller.

Saturday, April 20:
Pancake Breakfast, 7:00 am @ Moorhead Masonic Family Center at 1815 11th St. N. All you can eat buttermilk and Swedish pancakes, sausage, and eggs. $8.

Movie Matinee, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join us for a family film and free popcorn. This month, the library is screening “First Man.”

Monday, April 22:
Ask a Techspert, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Come to an open computer lab to practice your technology skills. Staff will be available to assist and answer your questions. Free.

City Council Meeting, 5:30 pm @ City Hall.

Origami Club, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Practice the art of paper folding with fellow origami enthusiasts. Basic materials are provided. Free.

Waste Art Reception, 5:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join us for the Waste Art Transformation Exhibit Reception in partnership with Clay County Environmental Services. The exhibit will be on display from Monday April 22nd to Saturday April 27th. Free.

Waste and Recycling Storytime, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. We’re celebrating Earth Day, so join for this special storytime about waste and recycling, with special guest, Shannon Thompson. Free.
