Moorhead Community Fund Advisory Committee Meeting, 7:30 am @ Hjemkomst Center.

Annual Salad Bar Luncheon, 11:00 am @ Moorhead Masonic Center at 1709 11th St. N. in Moorhead. It’s our Annual Salad Bar Luncheon, where you can eat all the (homemade varieties of) salad you want. Come for salad, fellowship, and fun. $10.

Bookfest, 5:30 pm @ North Elmwood Park at 500 13th Ave. W. in West Fargo. During this interactive evening, participants will read books, create crafts, meet a local author, and so much more. West Fargo Public Library will have books on site for families to check out and take home. Free.

Lego Club, 6:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. in Moorhead. People of all ages and creative ability are welcome to come make their own Lego creation. Supplies provided. Free.

Dive into Summer, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Municipal Pool at 800 19th St. S. Kick off the summer with a night of family fun at the pool. Enjoy free open swim and water games, hotdogs, chips, and pop (while supplies last), and enter for a chance to win prizes! Children 8 years of age and under must be accompanied and by an adult. Free.

Friday, June 14:
Midwest Kid Fest, 11:00 am @ Island Park in Fargo. Island Park will be filled with music, laughter, and bright colors as children play and learn at the 20th Annual Midwest Kid Fest. All activities are free. The fest hosts interactive educational booths, life-sized games, an entertainment stage, petting zoo, inflatables, strolling entertainment, and more.

Saturday, June 15:
Movie Matinee, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” will be showing. Free.

Sunday, June 16:
Kempter’s Family Father’s Day Concert, 12:00 pm @ Hope Lutheran Church North Campus at 2900 Broadway N. in Fargo. An outdoor concert and BBQ. Free-will offering supports the Kempter Family’s music ministry. The Kempter’s family, from Alabama, plays bluegrass gospel music. Celebrate Father’s Day and enjoy great food and inspiring music with your family. Free.

Monday, June 17:

Moorhead Public Housing Board Meeting, 11:30 am @ River View Heights at 800 2nd Ave. N.

Norwegian Antique Display, 2:00 pm @ Touchmark at Harwood Groves at 1200 Harwood Dr. S. in Fargo. Todd Hanson is a private collector of Norwegian antiques from the 1700s and 1800s. He focuses on collecting everyday items that were once popular. Hanson will be doing a public display of the items he has collected. All are welcome to attend. Free.

Moorhead Farmers Market, 3:00 pm @ Moorhead Center Mall. Get Fresh. Go Local. Items for sale include fresh vegetables, fruit, baked goods, honey, jams, jellies, pet products, hand crafted items, food trucks, music and so much more. Free.

Rustic Oaks 10 Year Open House, 5:00 pm @ 12155 3rd St. S. in Moorhead. We invite everyone to our event to celebrate our years in business and many more to come. Come and enjoy food, drinks & many area vendors. Free.

Wild West Jamboree, 5:30 pm @ Rendezvous Park at 1055 32nd Ave. E. in West Fargo. Enjoy a performance from Slamabama, take a ride in the horse drawn carriages, visit the petting zoo, learn the basics of roping, and check out the barrel car rides. Other free activities will include giant lawn games, kite flying, and gunny sack races. Inflatable games and pony rides will be available for $2.00 each. Hotdog, chips and beverage will be sold for $1.00/plate. Free.

Chess Club, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join chess players of every level for a chess skill share. Chess boards and books will be provided. Free.

Gospel Concert, 6:45 pm @ Bethany Senior Living at 201 S. University Dr. in Fargo. The Prime-Time Choir will be presenting a concert of gospel music to include instrumentals, solos, and small ensembles. Free and open to the public.

One Vegetable, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Explore the wonders of veggies with a story and experience food demonstrations as we celebrate One Vegetable, One Community. Free.

Bike Helmet Fitting Clinic & Giveaway, 3:00 pm @ AAA at 4950 13th Ave. S. in Fargo. AAA is hosting a bike helmet giveaway and fitting event for children ages 5 to 12, while supplies last. Safety tips will also be provided. Children must be present to be properly fitted for their bicycle helmet. Free.

River Paddling Excursions, 6:00 pm @ Hjemkomst Center Landing at 202 1st Ave. N. in Moorhead. Take a relaxing downtown river tour as Nicole Lee presents “Animals and Habitats.” Learn about the many habitats of wildlife living along the river. Please arrive by 5:30 pm. The cost is $15 per person, for canoe/kayak rental or $10 per person, if providing your own vessel. Children 5 years and under are free.
