Free Friday movie featuring “The Tale of Despereaux” at 1 p.m. at the Carlson Library in south Fargo; free, with popcorn served

Chocolat and Chocolate Tasting for the whole family at 2 p.m. at the Moorhead Library to watch the movie and enjoy chocolate; free

Ramp Jam at the Plains from 1-4 p.m. with a street course open to skateboards, bikers and inline skates in front of the Plains Art Museum with Emcee Kipp G and Tony the Butcher to provide entertainment through the afternoon; all riders must sign a release for to ride the course with parental permission for those under 18

Bike Jamboree and Bike-In Movie Night at 5:30 p.m. at the Plains Art Museum: hop on your two-wheeler and pedal down to the PAM for an evening of bike and art activities including “Pee-Wees Big Adventure” and free ice cream

Hip Hop Don’t Stop 3 at 9 a.m. at the Arctic Audio Building at 14 8th Street So. In Fargo where you can observe some of the premier street artists, STUN, EACH2, TOIL, and JAPL as they create a collarborative aerosol art mural

Read the book and see the movie, “The Joy Luck Club” starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Carlson Library in South Fargo; light refreshments will be served

Race the Red Canoe & Kayak Races at 5:30 and 7 p.m. at Lindenwood Park in Fargo with multiple race divisions and awards to the top three finishers in each division; all participants receive a t-shirt; registration required
