Join us for four days of festive cheer in the Outdoor Winter Wonderland, Food Tent, Gift Market, and Beer Hall with Drekker Brewing Company. With food, live musical performances, art demonstrations, holiday treats, and activities for the kids, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Free.

Pop Lit Book Club – “The Huntress” by Kate Quinn, 7:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. With exquisite writing and excellent plotting, Quinn’s “The Huntress” focuses on a WWII night bomber and a British journalist’s pursuit of a famed Nazi murderess.  All are welcome to join us as we discuss this exciting book. MHS Varsity Girls Basketball, 6:00 pm vs. Rogers @ Moorhead High School.

“Matilda the Musical,” Friday and Saturday at 7:00 pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm @ Moorhead High School. Based on the beloved novel by best-selling author Roald Dahl (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach), “Matilda The Musical” is the story of an extraordinary girl who, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her own destiny. $7-$11.

MSUM Music Theatre Ensemble with Solfire, 7:30 pm @ Gaede Stage at MSUM. A performance by the MSUM Music Theatre Ensemble and the vocal jazz group Solfire.

Saturday, Nov 23:
16th Annual Coin Show of North Dakota, 9:00 am @ Ramada Fargo at 3333 13th Ave. S. in Fargo. Please join us on Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Free admission.

MSUM Children’s Theatre: Charlotte’s Web, 1:00 and 4:00 pm @ Hansen Theatre at MSUM. Based off E. B. White’s classic children’s novel, this play weaves a beautiful tale of friendship. Staff from the Red River Zoo will have animals with them to show and talk about at 2:30 pm, between the two shows. Free.

LEGO Club, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. People of all ages and creative ability are welcome to come make their own LEGO creation. Supplies provided. Free.

Puzzle Exchange, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Refresh your selection of puzzles by participating in the library’s puzzle exchange. Bring puzzles of all sizes and exchange them with others. Puzzles must be complete with all the pieces included. Free.

Open Skate, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Sports Center. Admission is $2 for kids (age 17 and under), $3 for adults, and $5 for family skate. There is limited skate rental available for $1.

Fall Bands Concert, 4:00 pm @ Memorial Auditorium at Concordia College. Concordia’s music department will present a Fall Bands Concert. Free.

Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota, 3:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota will be hosting office hours at the library to provide free legal advice on civil (non-criminal) issues to low income families and individuals. They can assist with Minnesota legal issues surrounding housing, family, public benefits and other issues related to critical basic needs. Eligible clients must be at or below 125% of the poverty line and are required to fill out an application to begin. People will be seen on a first come, first serve basis.

2019 Xcel Energy Holiday Lights Parade, 6:30 pm @ Downtown Fargo. The Annual kick-off to the holidays is the Holiday Lights Parade presented by the Downtown Community Partnership and sponsored by Xcel Energy. This magical evening will feature spectacular parade floats, marching units, equestrian entries, and our Mayors, City Council and Commission members.
