The Nornes Lectureship in Neuroscience features Dr. Judith Kroll, Distinguished Professor in the Department of Language Science at the University of California, Irvine. Her lecture is “Second Language Learning and Cognition.” Free.

Lunch and Presentation on Vocation, 12:00 pm @ Trinity Lutheran Church at 210 7th St. S. in Moorhead. Dr. Paul Dovre, past president of Concordia College, will be speaking on the topic of “Why Should I Get Up in the Morning? Reflections on Christian Vocation in the Last Third of Life,” at Trinity Lutheran Church’s Friday Fellowship gathering A hot meal will be served at noon with Dovre’s presentation to follow. Cost for the meal is $7.50.

Video Game Swap Meet, 1:00 pm @ Moorhead Center Mall. This annual event is for young and old to trade from vintage to current day video games, systems, and everything in-between. This is free to attend and family friendly. Prizes and giveaways for exceptional video games and video game like items brought for trade or display as well as for bulk amounts of video games.
