Park It Arts & Crafts, 1:00 pm @ Lewis & Clark Park at 1807 16th St. S. in Fargo. Meet the Park It. staff at the park and create take home arts and crafts. The fun weekly to different neighborhoods. All supplies provided. Adult Supervision required. Free.

80’s Movies Series: The Goonies, 8:30 pm @ Heritage Garden & Amphitheater – Woodlawn Park at 400 Woodlawn Dr. in Moorhead. We’re stepping back in time again this summer! Enjoy the family-friendly 80’s classic The Goonies at the Heritage Garden and Amphitheater in Woodlawn Park. The movie begins at dusk, with popcorn, bug spray, and blankets provided. 1980’s era costumes are encouraged.

Saturday, Aug 3:
Fiber Arts Festival, 9:00 am @ Red River Valley Fair Grounds in West Fargo. For the eleventh consecutive year, Fargo’s Fiber Arts Festival will provide two days of fun, education, and shopping opportunities for all ages. At this year’s Festival, sheep are the featured animal. Visit them in the SC Hollander Pavilion, watch stock dogs herd them into place, and observe a sheep haircut, otherwise known as shearing. Admission and parking are free.

German Folk Festival, 12:00 pm @ Rheault Farm at 2902 25th St. S. in Fargo. Experience Germany without leaving Fargo! From Oktoberfest to Volkfests, the Germans sure know how to have a good time. Come out to this free, one day German Folk Festival dedicated to all things German culture, food, music, and fun.

Lego Club, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. People of all ages and creative ability are welcome to come make their own LEGO creation with the library’s LEGO Club. Supplies provided. Free.

Night to Unite, 4:30 pm @ Moorhead neighborhoods.

West Fargo Night to Unite, 5:00 pm @ North Elmwood Park at 500 13th Ave. W. in West Fargo. The West Fargo Police Department is excited to host the annual Night to Unite at North Elmwood Park! Come and celebrate our community and check out Police & Fire Demonstrations, FM Ambulance, Roll Over Simulator Demo, TaeKwonDo Demonstrations, Police K-9 Demonstration (Officer Orr and ToSti), helicopter tours, free ice cream floats and cotton candy, dance performances, meet local mascots and more! Food vendors will be selling a variety of food throughout the event.

G.O.T – Gathering on Tuesdays, 5:30 pm @ Island Park in Fargo. Each G.O.T event starts with a party that includes face painting, an art project, a DJ and so much more. Don’t forget your chairs because following each party, you’re invited to stick around for a feature movie on the big inflatable screen or a live concert in the park. And the best part is the event is free.
