So, a guy gets on the light rail transit train in Mesa, Arizona, and is carrying his Bushmaster hunting rifle (often called an assault rifle by people who don’t know they can used for hunting). He didn’t want to leave it in his broken-down car to be stolen, and it is perfectly legal to carry it on the rail.

Some people are carrying loaded 45’s cocked & locked right on their hip, some carrying 9mm, .357’s and whatever, hidden under their shirts or tucked into their pants or purse, AND without a permit of any kind!

But that’s the way it is in Arizona these days; you can do it and you don’t need a permit. I ain’t seen or heard of any shootings on the light rail cars either.

There is a group of women down here who want it ended. Seems they think it looks terrible, seeing people with guns on a public transit vehicle. I guess they want it illegal. Think about it! Then the only ones carrying guns on the transit cars will be the gang-bangers and robbers. They will be free to assault and rob at will, because the law-abiding people won’t be carrying them on the transit if it were to be outlawed. (It isn’t gonna happen in Arizona; the people like having protection within reach.)

You may have some problems believing some of the things I am about to tell you, because the local Fox station in Fargo doesn’t carry the regular Fox national news. That always bugged me too, because there are a lot of good newsworthy stories on the Fox national newscast that are NOT carried on the other three networks. (A friend of mine told me that having three liberal TV national news networks in Fargo and no national Fox news keeps people from hearing another point of view.)

Anyway, down on the border they are running out of room for illegals coming across, because now the border jumpers are saying “We are afraid of the drug cartels and are coming to America to seek asylum.” This now gives them a whole new status.

Are you ready for this? We are now filling and paying for hotels to house them, and the overflow are being released into the general public; some are even being transported to different parts of the country where they have friends and relatives. True story.

They don’t have to speak English, wait to become citizens, have gainful employment, have clean criminal records or even submit to a background check. They don’t even have to work for a living – we’ll give ‘em free food and medical care, school ‘em, get them some housing and whatever they need. We’ve got all the money in the world. Go figure!
