I just bought pears this week (noticed there was a special!)… but I have some days to wait ‘till they are ripe. Here is a fresh recipe for a delicious salad – that, you got it, includes pears!
Spinach Pear Salad

Dressing Ingredients
1/3 cup fresh squeezed blood orange juice (one orange)
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
For the Salad
Spinach
Sliced pear
Sliced orange (regular oranges, blood orange, or even a clementine would work well)
Pecans
Cranberries
Feta cheese
Whisk together olive oil, orange juice, honey, thyme, and salt until completely combined; set aside
Using a large platter, add spinach, followed by sliced pears, oranges, pecans, cranberries, and feta cheese
Drizzle dressing over salad and toss to coat immediately before serving
