A workman applies siding

to the 9Thirteen Lofts, the
four-story apartment project
being constructed on
Main Avenue west of Hornbacher’s
in Moorhead. The
building, which includes
45 one- and two-bedroom
apartments, is being built
by Mutchler Bartram Associates.
Architect Kevin
Bartram estimates the new
units — which occupy the
former site of the Moorhead
Knights of Columbus — will
be ready for occupancy by
late October. Leasing is being
handled by the Sterling
Companies.
The Bartram firm has also
begun work on remodeling
the former Union Storage
building on Center Avenue
and the adjacent building
constructed as the original
Moorhead Armory. The
larger building will contain
an estimated 65 rental
units, while the armory will
become an events center
after its historic restoration.
