PROPERTY ASSESSMENT REVIEWS TO OCCUR IN SELECTED NEIGHBORHOODS
MOORHEAD – The City of Moorhead Assessing Division will be conducting residential property reviews in selected neighborhoods in the coming weeks. Clearly identified City assessors may be walking around, viewing and taking photos of your property’s exterior.
Property reviews help the City Assessor determine current and accurate property values as required by the State of Minnesota. An interior inspection ensures the most accurate valuation.
To schedule an interior inspection, to confirm any data regarding the interior of your home in lieu of a physical interior inspection, or if you have questions about the assessment process, please call the Assessor’s Office at 218.299.5310.
Reviews will occur in the following subdivisions: Flatens Subdivision, Freemans 1st Addition, and Outlots.

CONCORDIA JOINS COMPASS TO HELP HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS CONNECT PASSIONS TO CAREERS
MOORHEAD – Concordia College has joined Compass, an online platform that helps high school students explore careers and connect with the education and training needed to pursue them. Concordia is the first private four-year college to be featured on the career exploration tool.
Developed by Fargo-based Golden Path Solutions, Compass links more than 23,000 students across 250 schools with 600 employers throughout North Dakota and Minnesota. The platform allows students to discover potential career paths and the academic programs, like those offered at Concordia, that align with their interests, goals, and industry needs.
“Choosing a college is about more than picking a major,” said Ben Iverson, vice president for Enrollment at Concordia. “It’s about discovering how your passions and talents can lead to a meaningful future. We’re excited to be part of Compass and help students make those connections earlier in their journey.”
Through Compass, Concordia will feature a variety of programs — such as nursing, social work, finance, exercise science, theater arts, and music — while emphasizing the value of its liberal arts foundation in preparing students for success in an ever-changing world.
“We’re excited to welcome Concordia to the Compass community,” said Golden Path Solutions founder and CEO Patrick Mineer. “It’s a great opportunity for students to discover more programs, learn more about a liberal arts education, and explore connections between programs and regional employers and careers.”
Concordia joins five other colleges already in Compass: North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton and Fargo, North Dakota State University, Mayville (North Dakota) State University, Bismarck (North Dakota) State College, and Northland Community and Technical College in East Grand Forks and Thief River Falls, Minnesota. Lynnes Welding Training in Fargo is also featured as a postsecondary education option.
