Firefighter Kevin Salisbury Announces Campaign for MN House District 4A
MOORHEAD – Kevin Salisbury, a Moorhead Firefighter, union organizer, and resident of Moorhead, announced today that he is running for the Minnesota House of Representatives in District 4A. Salisbury has served the community for 18 years, responding to emergencies and advocating for public safety and workers’ rights.
“I’ve spent my career protecting the citizens of Moorhead, and now I’m ready to serve them in the Minnesota Legislature,” Salisbury said.
“I have a perspective on the state of our district that not many can have, and a dedication to improving the lives of those I have served,” Salisbury said.
Salisbury’s campaign will be focused on what he calls “Comprehensive Public Safety”.
Salisbury stressed that public safety “goes beyond the logistical aspects of having proper personnel staffing and physical infrastructure – it also involves supporting the people of our community by addressing issues of economic equity, housing, and access to affordable healthcare.”
Salisbury emphasized that addressing these issues will not only strengthen public safety, but also uphold our highest constitutional ideals of freedom and the fundamental rights that every human being deserves: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
