MOORHEAD BASED SOLDIERS RECOGNIZED
The Minnesota American Legion presented the Enlisted Service Member of the Year award to two non-commissioned officers who are part of the 2nd Combined Arms Battalion, 136th Infantry Regiment, headquartered in Moorhead.
The Minnesota American Legion annually presents the Enlisted Service Member of Year award to soldiers, sailors and airman in National Guard and Reserve. The Army Guard is recognized with two awards as there are over 11,000 soldiers in Minnesota.
The Army National Guard ceremony was held at the Moorhead Armory December 12.
