MOORHEAD COMMUNITY EDUCATION WINTER CLASSES ARE NOW OPEN
MOORHEAD – Moorhead Community Education Winter Classes are now open for registration. Enjoy a wide variety of class options, including automotive maintenance, art and crafting classes, cooking, personal finance, kickboxing and silversmithing. Class options for youth include engaging art classes, coding club, martial arts and Ninja Obstacle training. Early Childhood Family Education courses are also available for parents with children from infants to pre-kindergarten.
Through Community Education, people of all ages and all abilities have the opportunity to learn and have fun in a multitude of classes.
Anyone in the Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding areas can take a class through Moorhead Community Education.
District residents receive a discount on most classes.

City of Moorhead Offices
•Closed December 24 and December 27; re-opening December 28.
•Closed December 31; re-opening January 3.
Garbage/Recycling
•Routes for Thursday, December 23 and Friday, December 24 will BOTH be collected on December 23. Garbage/recycling pickup will be picked up as usual December 27-29.
•Routes for Thursday, December 30 and Friday, December 31 will BOTH be collected on December 30. Normal garbage/recycling pickup will resume on Monday, January 3.
•Please be aware the shift in route schedules may cause early or delayed collection this week; set your trash out by 4 am to ensure it is collected.
•The City of Moorhead Garbage Transfer Station will be closed December 24-25, re-opening December 27. The transfer station will also be closed December 31-January 1, re-opening January 3.
MATBUS
•On December 24, MATBUS service (fixed route and MAT Paratransit) will end by 5:15 pm, and the Ground Transportation Center will close at 5:30 pm. On December 25, there will be no bus services, and the Ground Transportation Center will be closed.
•On January 1, there will be no MATBUS service (fixed route and MAT Paratransit), and all offices and the Ground Transportation Center are closed.
