Candidate Forum, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. The League of Women Voters of the Red River Valley will be hosting candidate forums for the Clay County Sheriff, Clay County Commission, and 4A and 4B district representatives at the Moorhead Library.

MHS Boys Varsity Soccer, 7:00 pm vs. Fargo North @ Moorhead High School.

Performance of “Colossal,” 7:30 pm @ Hansen Theatre at MSUM. “Colossal” is an epic event
about a star football player – a pro prospect, one of the most graceful runners in the world, and a
man in love with a teammate – struggles to move forward in the wake of a catastrophic spinal
cord injury. $12-$22. Also runs Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm.

Concordia College Theatre Presents “Men on Boats,” 8:00 pm @ Francis Frazier Comstock
Theatre at Concordia College. In this exciting and comedic adventure story, the cast portrays the
true(ish) history of an 1869 expedition of 10 explorers on four boats in the river valley of the
Grand Canyon. $0-$10. Also runs Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm.

Friday, Oct 5:
Moorhead High School Homecoming Parade, 4:30 pm @ 20th Street South beginning at 24th
Avenue toward 12th Avenue. Free.

Community Block Party, 5:00 pm @ Nemzek Practice Field at MSUM. Join us for door prizes,
bands, inflatable games, Dragon Train tours, free mac ‘n’ cheese, a make your own pennant
craft, food trucks, fireworks, and more! Free.

MSUM Alumni Film Screening, 7:00 pm @ Weld Hall at MSUM. As part of Homecoming
Festivities, MSUM’s School of Media Arts & Design presents an evening of short films created
by their Film alumni. Free.
