West Fargo Park District Fall Rummage Sale: Veterans Memorial Arena. 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM. 1201 7th Ave E, West Fargo. With over 100 vendor booths, this annual community event is a great opportunity for families and bargain hunters alike to shop, sell, and connect before winter. Admission: $2 per persom, kids 12 & under free.

Rosemaling Class with Dorothy Hoover: 1 to 6 p.m. Discover the art of Norwegian Telemark Rosemaling with artist Dorothy Hoover. Registration is required for this five-hour class, which will lead participants throughout the process of creating their own rosemaling plate. All materials are provided and registration will open Aug. 26. Location: Moorhead Public Library. Register by calling a participating location or by visiting larl.org/rosemaling. All classes free thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
