When things run great at the VA we need to hear it. I have to say the Dental clinic there is exceptional. Starting with the ladies that check you in, my dental hygienist my dentist. I’ve always had above average care there. I’ve even had a broken tooth that needed immediate repair. I had another dental issue during COVID. Whatever the issue they have been outstanding resolving it. Thank you all for the great care.
DAV (Disabled American Veterans) Fargo Chapter is having a picnic on Monday, August 11, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oak Grove Park at the Main Shelter.
It is a potluck picnic, so people can bring food items if they wish.
Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, and Beverages will be provided.
If you are a Veteran with CRSC good news from the Supreme Court. Soto vs. US recently ruled that going back six years rule no longer applies. So far its affected over 9,000 Veterans and more may follow.
Potentially more good news from the federal side.
The Major Richard Star act. “The act would eliminate the offset between military retirement pay and VA disability compensation for certain veterans, specifically those with combat-related disabilities.”
This act would affect several thousands of Veterans. It hast remendous Bi-Partisian support.
