Moorhead population swells by thousands

Thousands of young men and women poured onto the campuses of Minnesota State University Moorhead and Concordia College last week for Moving-In Day. With the launch of classes on the city’s two residential campuses, it was rush hour on streets around dormitories, where campus volunteers helped new and returning students move into their rooms … followed by often-emotional farewell hugs from their parents.

Classes began Monday at MSUM and Thursday at Concordia.
