Three of the 70-plus entries received top prizes — and cash — in the Greater Moorhead Days parade Friday. Their entries interpreted the parade theme: “Our Home Town — Celebrate Moorhead.”

The top prize of $300 was awarded to Our Redeemer’s Christian Children’s Center for their dragon-headed longboat and viking headgear.

The second-place winner was the Moorhead Crush Fastpitch Softball team, touting the 16U contingent’s fourth-place win in the statewide tournament. They were awarded $200.

FM Antiques and More nabbed third place and a $100 prize for their entry highlighting Moorhead history.
