I’m pleased to announce a huge partnership between Scheels and ND CVMA Chapters across the state.
Scheels, with stores in Fargo, Grand Forks, Minot and Bismarck and the CVMA with chapters in the same towns are collaborating to do the first ever “Patriotism across the Prairie” flag exchange event. Simply bring in a tattered worn out flag to any Scheels location and you can exchange it for a brand new one.
What is going to take place is we are riding our motorcycles from store to store across the state where we along with Scheels will be exchanging flags.
This will take place June 12th and 13th, right before Flag Day on the 14th. Scheels on 13th Ave. S Fargo will be exchanging between 10am and noon.
Moorhead Scheels 10am and noon. Moorhead exchange is being handled by the Cass and Clay County Veterans Services Offices. It’s a flag exchange/Veterans outreach. A Veteran can stop by and learn more about benefits, services or find resources.
We then proceed to Grand Forks from 2-4pm. then head to Minot and overnight. Minot Scheels exchange begins at 930am to 1130am, on the 13th. Off to Bismarck Scheels where the exchange takes place from 3pm-5pm.
We are anticipating giving out several hundred flags.
Nothing like this has ever been done before. This is a great pairing of patriotic organizations.
Sounds like the FMWF Chamber of Commerce had their biggest Redhawks Military Appreciation Night ever. Congratulations and thanks to them for putting this on.
A couple weeks ago Putins helicopter was almost destroyed on a visit to Kursk. Fifty Ukrainian drones intercepted his flight. Miraculously he survived the badly damaged helicopter and landed. If you hear about a big Russian Offensive, this may be a clue why. I’d like to write more about it.
