Scottish Rite Language Center Annual Rummage Sale and Breakfast:

Location: Scottish Rite Language Center at 1405 3rd St. N. in Fargo

Breakfast served Saturday from 8 to 10:30 a.m., French toast, pancakes, sausage, eggs, juice and coffee for $6, rummage sale will run Friday and Saturday. Proceeds benefit the language center.

American Association of University Women Used Book Sale:

The 57th annual used book sale by the Fargo-Moorhead branch of the American Association of University Women takes place Oct 23-Oct. 25. Books for readers of all ages can be dropped off at the space adjacent to the atrium on the east end of the mall Oct. 16 through Oct. 21. All proceeds support local and national AAUW scholarships.

Part of First Lutheran’s tradition is to host a Lutefisk and Meatball Dinner every fall. Besides great lutefisk, we serve meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, dessert and beverages. It’s a great time and great meal for everyone! The women of the FLCW will be selling delicious baked goods as well.

Spooky School Bus Ride:

The movie on the big screen will be “Sparrows,” a drama-comedy starring Mary Pickford, with a live and original score by Lance E. Johnson on the Wurlitzer pipe organ, Doug Hamilton will serve as emcee, also featuring The Fargo Big Bang All-Stars and the Fargo Theatre singers.

Vampires, ghosts and skeletons welcome. All participants are encouraged to wear a costume and dance the night away. NDSU Choral Concert featuring Eric Whitacre:

Free screening of the film to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the Nonpartisan Leagues in North Dakota, the film tells the story of small Midwestern farmers as they fight to save their way of life, film will be followed by discussions about the film, the impact the NPL has had on the cultural and political fabric of North Dakota, John Hanson, the film’s director, will attend the screening.

Just Friends: An Evening of Poetry and Jazz:
