Learn what signs and symptoms to watch for in yourself and others and discover a more effective way to battle the winter blues. Free.

CAPLP Housing Outreach, 1:30 pm Fridays and 10:00 am Monday @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Saturday, Jan 25:
60th Annual Red River Valley Coin Club Show, 9:00 am Saturday and 10:00 am Sunday @ Ramada Fargo at 3333 13th Ave. S. in Fargo. Mickey is coming! There will be a large exhibit of Mickey Mouse watches, coins, tokens and other exonumia at the upcoming show. One Mickey Mouse and one Minnie Mouse watch will be given away at the end of the show. We are also anticipating several other money related exhibits. Free.

Brunch – Women as Political Actors and Changemakers, 10:00 am @ Memorial Union at MSUM. Join the MSUM Women’s Center and members of the FM chapter of American Association of University Women (AAUW) for brunch and a talk by MSUM professor Dr. Deb White. This talk will look back at women’s political activism in the United States, with a particular focus on efforts leading to the passage of the 19th Amendment. Dr. White will draw connections with women’s political activism today, and explore changes shaping women’s future political engagement. $17/person in advance or $20 at the door on the day of the event.

High School Choral Festival Concert, 3:00 pm @ Memorial Auditorium at Concordia College. The High School Choral Festival weekend at Concordia concludes with a concert. Free.

LEGO Club, 6:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. People of all ages and creative ability are welcome to come make their own LEGO creation with the library’s LEGO Club. Supplies provided. Free.

Sunday, Jan 26:
Open Skate, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Sports Center. Admission is $2 for kids (age 17 and under), $3 for adults, and $5 for family skate. There is limited skate rental available for $1.

Cops vs. Kids Hockey Game, 7:00 pm @ Moorhead Sports Center. The City of Moorhead Police Department is hosting the 14th Annual exhibition hockey game between a group of law enforcement officers and Moorhead youth players. This event is a fundraiser for Moorhead Police Athletics and Activities League. Admission free, donations accepted.

Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota, 3:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota will be hosting office hours at the library to provide free legal advice on civil (non-criminal) issues to low income families and individuals. They can assist with Minnesota legal issues surrounding housing, family, public benefits and other issues related to critical basic needs. People will be seen on a first come, first serve basis.
