Clay Residents, Assisted Living Staffers Get Shots

Most staff and residents of Clay County long-term care and assisted living facilities have now received their first vaccinations for Covid-19. Walgreen’s and CVS employees have been administering them this week under the federal Pharmacy Partnership Program, which is bringing the vaccine directly to the 28 participating Clay operations. Shown are three members of the Farmstead Living staff in southeast Moorhead, who — along with all residents who chose to be vaccinated — got their shots from the Walgreen’s crew this week. From left: administrator Lisa Martin and nurses Morgan Johnson and Susan Hunt. A total of about 150, including one 100-year-old resident, received their first shots; the second will be administered Feb. 15.
