Baby Bounce: 10:30 am – 11:00 am. Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Songs, stories, and action poems for infants through preschoolers and their caregivers. Program runs about a half hour including playtime and chatting with other caregivers. Free.

Bowl for Kids’ Sake: 12:00 – 4:30 pm. Kingpinz at 3485 Jacks Wy S. in Fargo. Bowl for Kids’ Sake is an easy and FUN way to make a difference in our community. All you have to do is register, form a fundraising team, collect donations, and come to your scheduled bowling party. The purpose of Bowl for Kids’ Sake is to invite the community to be a part of our mission by raising funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Village Family Service Center.

Storytime and Craft: 6:30 – 7:30 pm. Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join us for Storytime and a craft. Each week, we explore different themes with stories, songs, rhymes, flannel boards, special guests and more. Storytime typically lasts for an hour and is geared for children ages 3-6, although children of all ages are welcome to join the fun. Free.

Centennial Lecture: Liberalizing Effects of Political Engagement: 7:00 pm. Knutson Campus Center at Concordia College in Moorhead. The lecture, “A Silver Lining for Democracy? Cross-Pressured Republicans and the Liberalizing Effects of Political Engagement,” is based on co-authored research with Lucas Eyler ’24. The lecture is free and open to the public. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

Friday, March 24

ROURKEART4ALL: 1:00 – 5:00 pm. The Rourke Art Gallery + Museum at 521 Main Ave. in Moorhead. Free. 

Moorhead Ice Show: Minnesota n’ICE: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7:00 pm. Moorhead Sports Center at 2400 4th Ave. S. in Moorhead. Learn to Skate and Advanced skaters will perform to this year’s theme, Minnesota n’ICE. Maxim Naumov, a nationally ranked skater, will showcase a special guest performance at each show. Tickets: $8 – 12 and over, $5 – 11 and under. Children 2 and under are free.

“American Masters: In the Making” Presentation: 8:00 pm on Prairie Public. “American Masters: In the Making” is a television documentary shorts series that follows eight emerging cultural icons on their journeys to becoming masters of their artistic disciplines. Guest Artist Recital: Mark Stevens: 2:00 pm. Christiansen Recital Hall at Concordia College. Featuring Mark Stevens on piano.

Ask-a-Techspert: 3:00 – 4:00 pm. Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Library staff guides participants through free program navigating like phones, kindles, tablets, and laptops while assisting with tech issues. Will demonstrate downloading eBooks and eAudiobooks from the library. Free.

Lego Club: 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join us for a weekly program to challenge kids’ creativity as they build amazing structures using LEGOs. This event is geared towards ages 5-10. Free.
