Red River Valley Veterans Concert Band in Concert:

Location: Eventide in Moorhead

Date: March 19

Cost: Free

The Red River Valley Veterans Concert Band will perform a concert at the Eventide Sr. Living Center. The RRVVCB’s mission is to promote patriotism through music, which will include sounds of the big band era, show tunes, theme songs, and patriotic music. The 50-piece band has been providing music for the public for over 50 years. The concert is free and open to the public.

Bouncin’ Bash and More:

Location: Veterans Memorial Arena in West Fargo

Date: March 20 – 22

Time: Friday 4:00 – 8:00pm, Saturday 10:00am – 7:00pm, Sunday 11:00am – 4:00pm

Cost: $6/per wristband (free for adults to watch)

This weekend of inflatable family fun will feature obstacle courses, giant slides, Adrenaline Rush, Battle Zone, Bootcamp Challenge, Bazooka Ball Battle, bouncers, Laser Tag, kiddie-land area and more, concessions available. Children 12 and younger must attend with an adult.

Lenten Fish Fry – Moorhead Knights of Columbus:

Location: St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Moorhead

Fireproof Home for the Bride Author Event:

Location: Barnes and Noble in Fargo

Amy Sheibe, author ofWhat Do You Do All Day?, releases her new novel,A Fireproof Home for the Brideon March 10. Get your signed copy and find out what inspired her to write this intriguing book of racial unrest set in 1950s Moorhead, MN.

Moorhead Ice Show:

Location: Moorhead Sports Center

Date: March 20 – 22

Time: Fri 7:00pm, Sat 7:00pm, Sun 1:00pm

Cost: $7 adults, $5 ages 12 and under

The annual Ice Show features skaters who participate in Moorhead Parks and Recreation’s Learn to Skate and Advanced Skater programs. This show will feature a variety of music and performances featuring skaters from the tots level up to the most experienced senior skaters with intricate footwork and jumps. Each show also features two performances by a nationally ranked guest skater.

Activities include bouncy games, unsupervised playground, local chef demonstrations, gardening seminars, and much more.

Teddy Bear Tea Party:

Location: Rheault Farm in Fargo

Come dressed up for a tea party and bring your favorite teddy bear. Learn etiquette basics through fun games while enjoying Bite sized snacks and refreshments will be served. Pre-registration is required. Ages: 3 to 8.

Baby Fair @ Main:

Location: Fargo Library – Main

Date: March 21

Time: 10:00am

Cost: Free

Parents of infants and toddlers, and expectant parents, are invited to the Main Library for a Baby Fair. Attendees will receive a free book and learn practical tips on how to introduce babies to language and reading. Area organizations will also be on hand to provide expert advice on parenting. Demonstrations, crafts and other activities, and refreshments will be served! No registration is required for this event.

Disabled American Veterans & Aux. Live Auction:

Location: American Legion in East Grand Forks

The Disabled American Veterans and Aux. will hold its Annual LIVE Fundraising Auction, on Saturday, March 21, 2015 starting at 12 noon at the American Legion Club in EGF. The public is welcome. Food and beverages will be available. All funds raised will go to help with our numerous projects for veterans! All sales cash or check.

HLC is hosting their 2015 “Winter Extravaganza.” This event will be full of fun, music & laughter. The money from this event will help support our youth mission trips to Green Bay, WI and Detroit, MI. this summer.

Maud Hart Lovelace Book Award Voting Gala:
