YWCA Chocolate Fantasy and Chili Too:

Cost: $15 at the door, $5 for ages 6-12

Women’s Fall Festival:

Location: First Lutheran Church at 619 Broadway in Fargo

Speaker will be Judy Siegle, women’s ministry leader at Hope Lutheran Church, her inspirational message is “A Closer Walk with God;” refreshments served and everyone is welcome.

Gettin’ Silly with Koo Koo Kanga Roo:

The Moorhead Public Library, the Moorhead Center Mall, and Moorhead Parks and Rec are co-sponsoring KOO KOO KANGA ROO: A family fun dance extravaganza for kids & adults of all ages! A Minneapolis-based self-proclaimed “kids band for adults too,” who perform shows centered on “acting silly, dancing as hard you can, and sweating.”

CCRI Superhero 5K Run/Walk:

Location: Gooseberry Park in Moorhead

Cost: Free

Join in the fun at the annual Greater Moorhead Days Parade. The parade will be on 20 Street South and start at 28 Avenue South. The parade will progress North to 8 Avenue South.

Walk MS: Fargo:

One Book, One Community – Orphan Train Documentary Screening:

Illuminight 5K:

Location: The Old Broadway in Fargo

FirstLink’s Walk of Hope:

The walk helps bring awareness to the issue of suicide. It is a safe place for those that have been affected by suicide. The walk will include a short program that includes a featured speaker, music, and time for open mic for those that choose to share their story. All donations benefit FirstLink’s local suicide support services including staffing the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 24-hours a day.

A research project by F-M Area Foundation to find out from residents what makes the city of Moorhead a great place to live, attendees will share with one another what they feel are Moorhead’s greatest assets and what community projects would most benefit Moorhead.
