PASS THE AMMO PLEASE

Back when comedian Pat Paulson was making a “Joke” run for the White House, he said, (on the issue of guns) “I’ll see that every American is given a gun and let em strap it on. We’ll just lock up all the bullets.” And for those who say that it isn’t the kill, it’s just the excitement of the hunt, what could be more exciting than sneaking up on a Grizzly Bear with an empty gun?

Have you tried to buy a box of .22 shells lately? We are just about at the point of not being able to get any ammunition, I mean from Wall Mart to Cabala’s and other sporting goods stores all over the country… its dang near impossible to get.

We are not just talking about assault weapon ammo; I had to drove all over Phoenix and Mesa to find a box of 30-30 shells for my Winchester. What is happening and why?

Homeland Security is buying up millions of rounds of ammo, they say it’s for practice and training. Everyone knows law enforcement usually uses cheaper hard-ball ammo or wad cutters for their qualifications and practice.

Keep in mind the factories are still operating, and probably putting in some OT when they can. So the ammo is being made and distributed and the Wall Marts are getting some .22 some shells and other ammo… it just disappears when they hit the store.

If you’ve heard the expression, “I’ve seen the enemy and they is us” THIS is what we now have. We are doing just what the government and the anti-gunners want us to do… we are hoarding, stockpiling and creating our own shortage of ammo.

A gun is nothing but a useless paperweight without bullets, and that’s just where we are going with this shortage thing. People are buying more than they need or will ever use… just because there is a shortage. Not to mention the leaches that are buying up everything they can get at retail stores and selling it for double or more. And many are paying the price in fear of not having any ammo.

The factories are cranking it out as fast as they can, the stores are buying whatever they can and it will all resolve itself and get back to normal when people quit going crazy buying up everything they can.

We could create a shortage of anything including toilet paper if we start the rumors of shortages. Just like they did for anti-freeze, coffee, gas or whatever they want to create a high price on.
