A couple of my absolute favorite things are shows and kids…what can be more fun than an evening watching Moorhead’s Gooseberry Park Players do their annual show? This year is no different, and will feature the movie, “Sound of Music.” As part of their show, Gooseberry Park Players often has a Silent Auction to help fundraise. This year’s Auction theme is “My favorite things”, and I’ve been asked to include a basket of my own favorite things.

What are your favorite things? It’s an interesting question knowing I will be filling a basket full of them. Movies, particularly with my kids? Check. Books? Check. Atomic Coffee? Check. Moorhead? Check. Check. Check. KISS (the hottest band in the world) Maybe… not sure if people are ready for that. It will be an interesting project. I do know for sure that the play will be spectacular as usual. Their website says: “Our purpose is to assist young people in developing self-confidence, self-esteem, and an understanding of the meaning of commitment and self-discipline.” I hope you will consider enjoying and supporting our Gooseberry Players by attending this year’s Sound of Music.
