Clay County Resource Recovery Center opening Monday, February 6

Clay County is excited announce the consolidation of several waste disposal and recyclable drop off facilities into one convenient location. The Clay County Resource Recovery Center (RRC) will replace the City of Moorhead Transfer Station, the Clay County Household Hazardous Waste Facility (HHWF), and the Clay County Electronics Recycling Shed in Moorhead. The old locations will close permanently Friday, February 3rd, 2023.

 

The new location at 3322 15th Ave North, Moorhead features a resident waste drive thru. Enter from 15th Ave N and check in at the Scale House to get started.

 

Materials accepted in the resident drive through drop off

·       Trash

·       Furniture

·       Appliances

·       Sorted Household Recyclables

·       Household Hazardous Waste

·       Household Electronics

·       Rechargeable Batteries

·       Lead Acid Batteries

·       Residential Fluorescent and LED Bulbs

·       Holiday Lights

·       Tires

 

The RRC will consolidate staffing allowing for regular drop off hours.

·       8:00am-4:00pm Monday- Friday

·       1st and 3rd Saturday from 8am-11:30am

 

The fee schedule at the RRC will be the same as at the Clay County Landfill.
