Alternate Tuesdays at Lost and Found Ministry

Stop in and visit with the Rev. Tim Bauer or Beth Brantner, LPCC on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays (May-August) from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Lost and Found Ministry. No appointment is needed

The aim of “Let’s Talk” is to provide a safe place for people to ask questions and begin to have shared conversations about their own or a loved one’s addiction. The relationships that develop between individuals with shared experiences allow people to create, collaborate and heal in new ways.

“We want the Tuesday “Let’s Talk” to provide the opportunity to meet people where they are and to provide a safe, welcoming place for them to ask questions, share concerns and explore ways to find their own path,” says Pastor Bauer.

Tuesday “Let’s Talk” gatherings are free and meet at the Lost and Found Ministry at 111 7th Street South in Moorhead.

Lost and Found Ministry serves the area with addiction intervention and family counseling services. Rourke Art Museum Announces Director to Step Down

The Rourke Board of Directors announced that Executive Director Tania Blanich will be stepping down as of May 30, 2014. Blanich has served as the Executive Director since January 2012.

Board President Brad Bachmeier noted that Blanich was hired to transition the Rourke from a founder-led organization. “Tania’s work at the Rourke has been much appreciated. She oversaw the monumental task of inventorying the works in the permanent art collection. Tania has brought new artists and exhibitions to the Rourke, while making new connections to the community and updating operational and administrative systems.”

“It has been a rare privilege to direct the Rourke,” said Blanich. “We have accomplished so much in such a short time, including boosting the Rourke’s profile and thus attendance. I’ve been gratified to know how positively our progress has been received by our members and the community at large. Indeed, the community needs to continue to support this wonderful museum.”

Bachmeier said, “Blanich has agreed to consult with the organization on the permanent art collection and its management, continuing the work she has overseen in inventorying and assessing it.” He added, “The Rourke has taken many positive steps since Tania’s arrival. We will continue to build on the momentum that has been created as we aspire to help the Rourke realize its fullest potential for downtown Moorhead as well as the entire region.”
