Lions Christmas in the Park:
Location: Lincoln Drive Park in Grand Forks

Cost: $5 per car, $10 per limo, $20 per bus.
Take a drive through scenic Lincoln Drive Park, located off Belmont Road and 13th Ave. South, and enjoy displays of holiday lights sponsored by local businesses and organizations. Proceeds from this event will be used by the Lions Clubs to increase contributions to worthwhile charities and projects in the community.

Little Polar Bear. (Rated G) A snowbound adventure about a little white bear. This 78 minute animated film talks of friendship, fun and accepting others, noting that best friends can come in all sizes!

Sleigh Rides Enjoy a horse drawn sleigh ride through scenic Viking Ship Park during our annual Sleigh Rides event. Tickets will be available on a first come first served basis. There are no reservations or advanced ticket sales. The Hjemkomst Center Snack Bar will be open and serving holiday drinks and treats.

It’s an Elephant & Piggie Party! A whole day to celebrate Mo Willems’s Elephant & Piggie stories, crafts and activities. LEGO Mania: LEGO Design Contest for Kids:

Show off your creativity at the Fargo Public Library’s annual Lego Mania Design Contest! Kids 12 and younger are invited to participate. Build an original creation at home, then bring it to the downtown Main Library on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. Judging will begin at about 3 p.m. and winners will be announced at 4 p.m. Prizes will be awarded. LEGO-themed activities and games will also be part of the fun.
Space is limited; pre-registration is required. To register, call the Children’s Librarian at 241-1495. Before you begin to build, please check out the rules and guidelines, which are available starting Dec. 1 on the library’s website. Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public. Adults must accompany children under 10 years old.
Family New Year’s Eve Party:
